GravoPrint 300

High-speed rotogravure printing with precise register

A 300 metre per minute rotogravure printing press built on mechanical line shaft technology, with shaftless or shafted cylinders. Engineered to hold register and colour across the longest runs on paper, BOPP, polyester and foil, with SIEMENS electronics and IoT diagnostics keeping every job in control.

Intro

It is a rotogravure printing press designed to resolve high volume flexible packaging print through a precise, automated and highly controlled system. Its build integrates a mechanical line shaft drive, register control and remote diagnostics, ensuring a constant and traceable level of quality from the first printed metre onward.

Thanks to its mechanical line shaft design, GravoPrint meets the most demanding requirements in register accuracy, colour consistency and solvent control, making it possible to replace slower, less predictable presses with a reliable, repeatable and job specific printing solution today.
Advantages

Key features and benefits

01
Reel handling
More continuous printing without any stops

The auto reel changing turret keeps the press running through every splice, shortening changeovers, removing avoidable stops and giving greater control over time and output.

02
Cylinder mounting
Shaftless or shafted cylinders

GravoPrint accepts shaftless cylinder chucking or shafted cylinder mounting, so the press fits the engraving and cylinder stock you already run, integrating that choice as part of the machine itself.

03
Versatility
For every substrate you run

A capable press for paper, BOPP, PET and their laminates, at web widths up to 1300 mm and cylinder repeats from 400 to 800 mm, across flexible packaging, labels and lidding work.

04
Remote support
Diagnostics and per job setup

SIEMENS drives, HMI and PLCs with remote IoT diagnostics adapt the press to the substrate, ink and speed of each job, while a tool-less, pneumatically set doctor blade holds print consistency regardless of the print complexity.

One press, many integrated systems

GravoPrint integrates drive, register, drying and reel handling into a single controlled press. It brings together in one machine functions that previously required separate attention and, thanks to the logic of its line shaft, it works as a complete system to hold quality across the run.

Complete GravoPrint printing process

01
Specification and technical definition

The project begins with a detailed specification of the press from Narendra Gravure’s technical office, in coordination with your production team. At this stage, the technical specifications of the machine are locked — printing cylinder mounting, turn bar, number of colors, speed, ventilation system etc. are matched to the job, and the mechanical and electrical drawings for in house manufacturing are generated.

02
Manufacturing

The press is produced through an in house process focused on precision and quality control. Our VMC, CNC and grinding machines ensure repeatability, reliability and a consistent result, reducing deviations compared with bought in assemblies.

03
Installation

Installation is simple and efficient: the press is commissioned on your floor through an agile and uncertainty free start up, thanks to prior testing and the preparation of drawings and documentation, contributing to a cleaner and safer route into full production.

GravoPrint for your printing line

It can be integrated into lines developed by third parties. Based on your existing layout, or with support from our technical office, we adapt the press to turn it into a printing station ready to install and run.

We analyse the technical fit and define the best way to integrate it, maintaining control over timelines, cost and finished print quality.

FAQs
How much faster can GravoPrint run than a comparable press?

The gain depends on the job, but higher line speed, auto reel changing and register control together cut changeovers and downtime, so far more good metres leave the press each shift.

What technologies are integrated into the GravoPrint printing press today?

GravoPrint is built around a mechanical line shaft drive with SIEMENS electronics. Automatic register control, web video, viscosity control, ink circulation, corona treater, 100% defect detection system.

What production advantages does GravoPrint offer to converters?

Faster changeovers, fewer stops and steadier register help bring forward return on investment. GravoPrint improves converter profitability by reducing the waste, rework and downtime associated with slower presses, while also reducing solvent evaporation with the ink cooling system. It has a modular design that makes it upgradable for higher levels of automation. Made and supported in India.

Is GravoPrint supported after installation?

Yes. GravoPrint is supported directly by Narendra Gravure after installation, with remote diagnostics, spare parts and the same in house team that designed and built the press, kept close for its full service life.
